🧄 Butter Garlic Tuna
Ingredients:
- 2 tuna steaks (or 1 can of tuna in chunks, drained if using canned)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon juice, parsley, chili flakes
- Pat dry, season both sides with salt and pepper
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear tuna steaks for 1–2 minutes per side (for rare), or longer if you prefer well-done. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, lower the heat to medium.
- Add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds–1 minute).
- Optional: Add a splash of lemon juice or sprinkle of chili flakes.
- Pour garlic butter over the tuna steaks.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or a wedge of lemon.
